NASWA Workforce Summit and UI Directors’ Conference

The National Association of State Workforce Agencies and the Alabama Department of Labor are hosting the Workforce Summit & UI Directors’ Conference 82nd Annual Meeting in Birmingham, Alabama, September 19-21, 2018.

This year’s conference format will be super-charged as we integrate workforce development and UI topics for the first time! The UI Directors’ Conference and IT & Legal Issues Forum will be combined with the Annual Meeting, bringing a more robust, diversified and well-rounded conversation to the conference. Committee meetings and a Board of Directors meeting will take place prior to the conference, September 17th, 18th and a half-day on the 19th.

The COVA Conference is the largest victim services field conference in the country and draws over 1,000 attendees to Keystone, CO every year. Over the course of four days, participants learn new skills, up-to-date information and laws, and best practices for the victim services field in 72+ workshops. Last year there were over 1,000 attendees from State of Colorado government agencies, district attorney offices, law enforcement, field professionals, victim advocacy/non-profit groups, victims and survivors, and more.
